Rebecca Crandall, an attorney with McGuire, Wood & Bissette will be joining us on Feb. 17 to discuss practical steps that restaurant owners can take to develop and protect their intellectual property, including protecting and enforcing branding rights and trade secrets.

A brief bio on our presenter: Rebecca Crandall, an attorney with McGuire, Wood & Bissette, focuses her practice on intellectual property matters.  As the only North Carolina Board Certified Trademark Specialist in Western North Carolina, she enjoys working with clients from the early stages of brand selection though clearance, registration, defense, and enforcement.  Rebecca also drafts, revises, and provides advice regarding agreements relating to intellectual property transaction, including confidentiality, vendor, and license agreements as well as acquisitions and franchises.
